Thread: Visible weapon stocks?
So, I went to the rifleman trainer in Keren yesterday because I couldn't find anyone to train me, and I saw all the carbines with stock and scope on the box next to the carbineer trainer. I thought they'd look nice on my wall, so I went back to my shop and made EE3, laser, and elite carbine with stock and scope, andTHEY'RE BROKEN. All I see is the scope.
The stocked carbine models are obviously in the game, why don't our weapons use them?
I have a laser rifle with a visible stock so I know it works on some weapons. The only difference between that and the carbines is that I made the rifle over a month ago with an advanced stock, and the carbines used regular stocks.
Yes, i hate this too. Another thing i hate, Customized Weapons with barrels and scopes ONLY show to the person holding the weapon on thier screen. I use the different barrels and such on a few weapons to make them look more impressive.. but only the person holding the weapon sees it... Whats the point in customizing weapons if no one else but the user sees it? ![]()

I've noticed the advanced stocks and scopes will appear on the weapon but the standard ones won't. Haven't tried regular stocks though.
Customizations on handmade guns only appear if you uncrate the parts first. Doubleclicking the crate in the crafting tool results in an invisible scope/stock. Factory-made guns won't show any customizations no matter what.
I'll try adv stocks on the carbines tonight. Elite carbine with stock looks really cool.
* looks up* what he said ^ Thats how to do it. I like having the scope visable on my CSTM guns and that is how you do it.
I just made elite, laser, and EE3 carbines, and a laser rifle. All used uncrated factory scopes and barrelsand handcrafted advanced stocks. The stock only appears on the laser rifle. Scope appears on all, but is rotated 90 degrees on the rifle and looks retarded.
