Found a crystal drop yesterday and have no idea what to do with it.

It's described as "A Crystal" "Melee weapon component."

I checked with a master weaponsmith that happened to be within searching range and he'd never seen anything like it. Melee... *ponder*

Anyway, does anyone know what it's for? I'll happily sell/give it away, just contact me in game for a view/examine of it.

It is a fairly common drop/item. Assumed to be used in making a lightsaber, though of course this is unconfirmed as yet.

Hrm. I thought I was jumping a bit to even think that.

Good to know it's not some wacky rare drop that if I destroy it people will put a bounty on my stupidity, or sell it on the bazaar and get ripped.
