Thread: What is a Rantok Sword and where can I get one?

Hey all..I just got cert on this and can't find one anywhere. Don't see it on the weaponsmith tree either...ideas?

There is no Rantok schematic. The only way you could get one is through the jabba themepark missions. On one of the last missions, you are asked to get an item from a container in a building, that item is a rantok sword. If you put the sword you take out of the container into your backpack, and then go back and restart the mission, you can keep your rantok sword. You can do that as many times as you like, but quite honestly the sword is no where near the quality the other crafted swords.
I'm also not sure that this is still part of the missions, since I haven't redone the Jabba missions after the last patch. It's possible that at some point they will become craftable, just like the scythe which was not availabe as a schematic before the patch.

The Rantok Sword still is part of the Jabba missions as of 2/13/04(after patch 6).
The one I picked up for themissionhad the followingstats:
speed: 3.3
dmg: 45-150
Wound: 20%
Range Mods: +10 all
HAM Costs: 27/40/25
Armor Piercing: None
It is cool looking, but like Phoebie said, it comes nowhere near inquality as a crafted weapon.

You get them on the last or second to last mission from Jabba. Just when you go back to Jabba, move the sword into your pack or something, and then take a new mission. Rinse and Repeat as many times as necessary!
