Do weaponsmiths still get Usage Experience?
Experience gained when another character uses a weapon crafted by that Weaponsmith?

maybe? They might have taken this out.

I think I remember way way way back when the game first came out I got a tiny bit of exp offa people using CDEFs I sold on the bazaar.

Yes you do get usage. In fact, you can even use your own gun and get usage xp from it. I've moused over the xp monitor and watched the number go up after kills. Kinda cool.

are you sure....

cause i've tried it out... and didn't see any difference in my WS xp... my WS char is an alt and my main char is a BH, i made some D18s and used them with my BH and when i logged back on with my alt there was no difference in xp... and i gave some guns away... and watched some buddies kill stuff with them and didn't see any change on my xp...

Supposedly they took Useage exp out altogether or something way back when...

Anyways, if it still works, to have it work, you must be within range of the person using your weapon to get exp, and even then the exp you get is... terrible
