To use the C12, you need the Light Fragmentation Grenade cert, which (to the best of my knowledge) *everyone* gets.
Fragmentation is for C22.
I can use C12s just fine, as can everyone who I've sold them to.
I suggest submitting a /bug, rather than a ticket.

Thanks Brilyn, I'll have to try that. I was just wondering if this was a wider issue or if it's a bug just for me. Looking at my cert list, I have an entry for Fragmenatation grenade (which I think is the C22 one from commando), and I have another more messed up entry that says somthing like lightfragmentationgrenade light. Which seems obviously bugged to me. It used to work months ago, and hasn't for quite some time. Like you say, I think the C12 is a cert everyone gets. I thought maybe they moved it or something.

The certification for wookiees has that mistype. Are you perchance a wookiee? I am and haven't been able to use C12s are they aren't "Cert light fragmentation lightagmentation" - for a year.

Anyone else notice there is a problem with the certification for the C12 Frag grenade? Even if you are supposed to have it, the game thinks you do not. The grenades themselves say certified "no". This is on a character that is a novice commando, and I know at novice you get the ambiguous "fragmenation grenade" cert, which doesn't specify which of the 2 (C12 or C22). I know in the past, that it did work, and you could use the C12 even when not a commando. In fact, I don't even know where the cert used to be or is for the C12. I think they probably tried to fix it, and just ended up screwing it. I haven't been able to sell a C12 for months - and I think this is why. Anyone else seeing this problem?
I tried doing a bug report on it, but got stuck at the knowledge base part. It just endlessly kept searching the knowledge base without getting a result, and until it finishes a search you can't stop the search or change the search. And until you finish a search you can't do a bug report. This is a wonderful system if you want to keep your users from ever submitting a bug report!!!!!
Later today, (after i get off work), I will finish crafting some new C22 frag grenades and see if my commando character with the "fragmentation grenade" cert, will be able to use those ones (while not being able to use the C12 ones).
