Thread: what is it that makes the barrell and scope show in the graphic?

Have had some scopes and some barrels that when making my weapons show up on the weapon in the final build.
Example a FW-FWG-5 with a scope on top
What makes this happen? And is there a way to repeat it... a scope on a weapon looks cool.

i don't think it works on some weapons, feather fwgs don't but a normal fwg5 does, just have the scope and barrel or stock out of the crate when making them

Hi,
To me it seems that crafted scopes show up, but loot scopes dont.
I made an FWG 5 with my own scope, and it showed. Made one with a crafted scope, and it didnt. Maybe its something else, but thats what it looks like to me.

I know it's only on "some" weapons.
for example, try an elite carbine with the barrel right from the crate, then do another with the barrel out of the crate before putting it in the slot.
The gun comes out with the barrel on the very end giving it an appearance it's almost a rifle
