SOE keeps adding certifications and schematics for new weapons, however, there's the freaking beam rifle sitting there.

Why not add a certification for that one of these patches? If they can create an entire new gun and add a cert, why not add certs for pre-existing guns?

Also, what I would like to see is something similar to the scythe schematic quest, except kinda in the opposite direction

quests for certifications. Maybe bump the quality of the beam rifle a few notches, and make it where the only way you can become certified in it is if you finish off a difficult quest (and have a minimum skill, maybe novice rifleman).

I think they should make the Beam Rifle fall under a melee certification because it's useless as a gun, so you may just as well swing it around wildly.
