Ah, very interesting. If you make a good Reinforcement Core from White Power cubes and +10 Paste - are these in general better or worse than regular reinforcement cores made from top-quality standard metals?

Well I had a huge backlog of +10 paste and white cubes and a load of reinf core schems so last night I decided to dig out my ditanium steel and make some geo reinf cores.

One thing about these is they take TWICE as much ditanium steel as normal reinf cores. The only way they differ is that the paste adds +10 to top end dmg. All the range mods and HAM costs remain the same. I crafted about 15 by hand. Had one or 2 moderates and a fail and just scrapped those. Today I will most likely make some hand crafted stun-batons (IMO the only weapon that shows improvement due to low base dmg) and maybe get 10 good ones out of those. All in all the SBs will (hopefully) be better than my current factory model by 10 max, but that's it. Still the same HAM, still the same range mods.

All in all I'll have used twice the amount of good ditanium and 2 pieces of loot that some people try to charge through the nose for.

In the past I've used looted geo reinf cores but only when either their min or max dmg out did my crafted ones. They DO lower HAM and increase ideal range mod and sets of 4 or more means you can make a small factory run of them.

So after all this what can I charge for these? I can call them Geonosian Stun Batons and slap a 10K premium on them. Some people are willing to pay the extra for these but most are not as a nrmal one with a better slice than what these may get will have better damage. On a closing note I have had fencers come to me with yellow cubes and +15 or higher paste and made them some really nice stun batons but for me to buy the ingredients for these and try to resell would be financial suicide...

Use the yellow cubes in the crafted geno re-cores. The crafted cores will be better than adv re-cores. I made a yellow cube re-core with +10 paste last night, for a gaffi for a friend. I hated using it in it as it would've been sweet in a power hammer. But it was my last yellow as I had just crafted my yellow core scythe.
