Im not sure where i would look this up... But i was talking with someone and they said you can put krayt tissues in pistols any more.. Is this true? If you still can how many can i put into one gun and how do they stack? Thanks for the imput!

1.) Not true, any weapon that incorporates a power handler can be enhanced with krayt tissues.

2.) Sadly they do not stack, i.e., two 30 -.30 tissues in a republic blaster only yield 30 -.30.

Sadly they do not seem to stack. Which is the real travesty. Though weapons with multiple power handlers are reason enough to power up in themselves.

Allmost all pistols of merit can use them. The only exceptions being fwg, launcher. If my recollection is right, Most rifles asside from the tusken. Most heavy weapons asside from the rocket launcher. Cant think of a carbine that cannot use them. Melee weapons cannot use them at all.

The number of tissue varies from gun to gun. The best thing to do is consult with your weaponsmith. About how to maxamise your tissue use. In accord with the weapons you can use, and what will get the best increase from the krayt tissues. There isnt a master weaponsmith that dosent accept krayt tissue as a form of payment. You give them a unit of tissue or two and you get all the remaining tissues put into guns for free.

Also it is a good idea to check out a weaponsmiths vendor. This will give you an idea of how good a smith they are, and more importantly what they excel at. Many weaponsmiths have specialties. That come from them haveing extensively tinkering with possible combinations. One may be exceptional at scatter pistols. While another does increadibly well with heavy weapons.

Lastly if you want a very special weapon made from your tissues like a modified republic or a disruptor rifle. The cost will go up simply because the weaponsmith gets these as rewards from themeparks or dungeons. They have limited uses. This means that the schematic might only have three uses and its gone. So obviously the weaponsmith prefers to use them on manufacturing schematics to make as many as possible for each use. This cannot be done with krayt weapons.
