Good evening fellow weaponsmiths, I need your help on something.
I have5 ABPH's made up with a speed of -3.02 and I'm not exactly sure what I should do with them. First off, I'm not sure where speed caps on alot of weapons. Secondly, I'm not sure which professions suffer the most from a speed hindrance. Pre-CU I would have thrown these babies into a FT and not thought twice about it, but now, I'm at a loss.
So, do I throw all my eggs in one basket, go for a T21 or commando weapon? Or do I spread them out a bit, go with a mix of DL44xt's and HCSP's? Or even do an E11Mk2 and a DL44xt and HCSP? The choices are endless. I'm leaning towards spreading them out, especially since I don't know if the speed will really factor in that much.
So, I ask you, what would you do with these ABPH's?

I think the average ABPH is near -1.6, considering yours is about 1.5 faster that takes .15 off the speed of your weapon. I don't really think you need to worry about speed capping, but if you are make a standard one, subtract .15 speed from it and compare it to the stat cap thread here in this forum to see if that is below. I think the cap on most pistols is 1.73 or 1.78 off the top of my head.

Don't make commando weapons. SAC is always high on these weapons. I always tap out my action points on a normal speed weapon. That would just make it worse. Talk to a rifleman, but I don't think speed matters that much to them. Usually their speed mods make rifles really fast. I'd go with the FOTM and do High cap scatters. Given that there are so many noob BH's, speed seems to be heavily weighted in DPS and so many people are enamored with DPS, it would seem logical. Make one High cap Scatter and see what kind of response you get.
