I looted a few.

They have no stats. But they're listed as melee weapon component. Any idea which weapons the pearls go into if any?

Honestly, I think this post is kinda poor taste to be posting in the Jedi forum. It's like saying, "Hey Jedi, do you want me to hold off on selling the pearls I have until after CU so I can mark them up another 75%?" Uh, no. Don't wait. Sell them now for 50k each!

Poor taste aside, yes I do believe that pearls will be worth more after CU. Because Krayts will be much more difficult to kill. But it is still a little premature to say that for a fact, because they haven't been tested much (if at all) to my knowledge.

Perhaps your right, tho maybe the Jedi profession should be less reliant on pearls and crystals (or there equivalent) or make them drop from mobs that jedi can handle solo perhaps....

better still.... make saber components jedi quest items, but maybe that would be too much like 'game content'.
