Thread: Looking for a Brief Compilation of issues and recommendations for a New Weaponsmith

I originally mastered Weaponsmith about 6 months after launch but because of various issues decided to go combat instead. I now have an alt that I wish to grind up to Master again. Since I have been away for so long can anyone please give me some advice based on the "known facts" about the up coming CU.

A couple of questions come to mind right away and I am sure you will have more to offer as well.

1) Are CA's of any value after the CU....in plain english.....is 12 points important (not trying to start any flame wars here)?

2) Does Foomans Weaponsmith tools still work for Weaponsmiths?

3) Has anyone compiled a comprehesive list of what resources are needed for weaponsmiths?

Anything else you can think of to help someone out is much appreciated.

12Points had the potential to be alot more important after the CU, with a wider range of exp. lines from base componenets which would have meant that instead of the extra 2points been used on condition or HAM costs in the final item it would be applied in all componenets giving a multiplying effect kinda like armor is now. But as weapons are going to be capped on speed damage extra you could probably manage with 10points. Id still look for 12 incase of any alterations when CU goes live.


Carbonate Ore, Crystalline Gemstone are needed to craft some weapons but most are just as they were, no sign of any of the 'new' resources needed (JTL Resources)


I havent been on TC much so id get a few opinions to clear this up


Oh and its probably not worth the time, money and resources to grind again
