Maybe I shoud have labled this "Please help write Weaponsmith for Idiots" but any ways here I go.

Correct me if I'm wrong but from reading here I get the impression that unless a gun is a special order for PvP or somthing like that you don't use Advance barrels, adv stocks, or adv scopes due to a tremendous increase in HAM cost that makes them impratical. Is this correct? If so what about blaster power handlers? Do you ussaly use Adv or is that another special order thing generaly?

I ask this because My 1st character was a CM/DR so when crafting you ALWAYS use the Highest quailty Advanced componets to get the best possible poisions or stim. So it just kinda struck me as odd when I started reading these forums, and people were talking about basic componets make better guns than Advanced. Hell with meds a stim made with all basic componets that used Ultra high quality resourse would still only be about 1/3 as good as the same stim made with advanced componets that used the special but dirt poor quality resources.

Stocks in general are worthless

Adv scopes are crap, use normal scope fully experimented for HAM instead

Adv projfeed/barrels are very good, always use them

Adv blaster barrels aren't really worth it, you gain like 3 damage anda smallamount of accuracy but you lose speed, I don't use them unless it's a special order for some master combat class who doesn't care about speed

Adv blaster power handlers are good and should be used in everything unless you really need that 0.1 extra speed you'd get from normal
