Someone posted in a thread here that microsoft has software you can download that will allow you to set the mouse button on automatic double click. This would help tremendously for grinding out those rifle barrels.

I checked the website, and there are several different downloads available, but the titles aren't very descriptive, and there doesn't seem to be much info on them either. Does anyone know which one I should get? Don't wanna start downloading them one by one till I get the right one(my download speed isn't incredibly good). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Additional software shouldn't be necessary for mouse mapping. Go into your control panel, and click on the mouse icon. This should bring up a window with your current mouse settings, and you can remap the buttons through this.

Your mouse's vendor should have software to modify the extra buttons on it. So I'd try their website first.

The MS software is their "Intellimouse" software for their mice. It may be difficult to map the extra buttons on your mouse, since they won't correspond exactly to MS's mice.
