A few days ago a novice weaponsmith tried to sell me a power handler with a -9.7 speed modifier (yes the decimal place position is correct). He said he was just grinding and this one came up.

lol. He wanted 3-5 million credits for it, never mind that its an exploit and anyone that could afford it would already hit up against the 1 second cap for weapons.

Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Happened to me once a few times while grinding DLT20a's months ago. I used the power handler in a DLT20a and it was normal speed. (at that time for me it was about 6.3) Yours could be different but mine were pretty much worthless.

Weaponsmith on my server tried to sell me a -2.2 speed, 3/3 damage PFM. For 2 freakin' mil. Would have proven whether or not speed can go lower than 0.0, but wasn't worth the dough.

Speed caps at .9,but couldn't you imagine like a rocket launcher with that component(notweaponsmith,dont know what goes into a RL), you could do like 3-4k dmg a second!
