Thread: tell hell begins!
Wow, all you masters were right. Many told me to get ready for alot of tells. Since i hit master, everyone wants the BEST WEAPON EVER! and imediately.
I had a guy talk to me for 1/2 an our about karyted carbines. I told him i could have it ready tomorrow, he needed them in an hour and gave me an attitude. jeez
Or worse they can't understand why a MWC does not have Krayte. Story goes like this.
Buyer "Can you make Krayte weapons????"
Arkkyle "I can make one rather quick if you supplie the krayte."
Buyer "Oh nevermind, don't know how you expect to stay in buissness if you don't have Krayte and worse your not even in a guild."
Arkkyle "Odd, I'm a crafter not a gunmanand your telling me that I should have Krayte, why don't you? If it is that easy to obtain?"
Buyer---Silence.
I am not one to complain about my profession, I do however wish some of these people would live a day or two in our crafting lives. Perhaps they would learn a touch more manners.
It's all about becoming the master ofSerpentine. Learn it, love it and embrace knowing when to sprint.

I especially like how they start or end every request with "I have a lot of money". It's as if they think we have some ultra-secret High Roller vendor somewhere and they have to be part of an exclusive club to get the waypoint.

I do the same thing! Making Krayt weapons is time consuming and tedious. Not to mention the fact that you have to explain "The Theory Of Experimentation" when they see that the +30 tissue isn't 30 dmg more than what's on the vendor....
Theres a bunch of stuff we get asked for. One I like is someone wants to buy 10 weapons for the price of 5. And they want me to come back from the middle of endor to get it off the vendor for them. I then refuse to lower the price, they buy a bunch of them anyway, then tell me to give them a better deal next time. I just stop responding at that point.
And this is why I want triggers added to this game. Would make dealing with the idiot customers much easier. You could set up a trigger that on the phrase, "Can you make me X weapon now ? I'll pay for the best you've got!" would respond with, "Suck my what ?"
Seriously tho, I have to agree, the /tells from morons are getting annoying, but thankfully I have learned to find humor in a large amount of it. Like the guy that buys weapons from me for 2 months. Approximately 20-30 weapons, and then one day messages me with, "Are you a weaponsmith ?"
Anyhow, have a good one folks, and keep on craftin.
The second most /tell’s I get is from Guilds offering me heaven and earth to become their Weapon crafter. Although flattering I always decline and offer to sub-contract any products they desire. It has become painfully obvious that most of the weaponcrafters in these guilds have chosen to pursue the "Jedi" slot.
My offers have never been fulfilled, no guild wants to sub-contract their weapons from a non guilded smithy. Why? Simple they actually have to pay market prices, although credits are easy to come by they don’t want to part with it if they can have a guilded smithy they can get it from for free.
I was surprised to find out I am one if not the only Independent successful smithy on my server, not to mention one of the few Master Artisans. Should be interesting when vehicles arrive, I can use all my surplus stock of older minerals.

Me: I dont know...I cant keep a running tab of all the sliced weapons I have...I know at least 4 more are on there though... HEAL Please crap <enter> HEAL Please... *bodyshot2*
d00d: I have alot of money I want the best
Me: We all do *You have been incapacitated by RK-412*
d00d: What are your regular T21 stats and when will you have more sliced?
Me: *you have been killed by RK-412 requesting clone activation* /addignore d00d
Its more common than you think hehe
My favorite one as of late is the guy who /tells me everday asking for something and he gets the same "please email all weapon requests or inquiries" from my afk message yet he has never figured out that I wont answer tells and has neversent me an email and still /tells me almost everytime I log on.
Personally I have all but stopped making weapons for the masses and don't even log my weaponsmith account on unless I or my friends need something. Not worth the aggrivation any longer.
