I just became master weaponsmith about 1 week ago. For some reason I am not in tell/hell. Not that I want to be. Maybe because I stay out of the large cities Anyway, I have been making guns for my friends all week and have not gotten a single amazing result on crafting. Is it supposed to be like that or am I doing something wrong ? The house crafting station quality is positive 24 and the personal ones I have on me are positive 8. I know the 8 is a little low but, I will be surprised if that is what is preventing me from getting the amazing success. Maybe I am wrong and hopefully somebody can tell me.

I normally get an Amazing every 5-10 items I'd estimate. I don't know why you're not getting any.

I'm not really sure what PadawanChong is doing to get those kind of results. I have been at this since launch day, and i still get amazings, very rarely (1/50...maybe). From what I can tell, the quality of the tools and crafting station have little to do with this, since i'm using a+41 private station and +12-14 crafting tools, and still seeing the low success rates i've seen many people complaining about.

I too have been asking this question for some time... still no definitive answer.

Amazing successes maybe 1 / 100... might be attributed to myself being a wookiee. I use +14.58 crafting tools, and +42 crafting stations.

Some say it's tied to weapon assembly. Some say it has to do with food as well. Anyone know for sure?

I am using a 43.32 crafting station and 14.94 crafting tools, I get amazing maybe one out of 50 attempts or so. I do not have any skill tapes yet.

Ok, maybe it's closer to 10, but figure that I experiment 3-5 times on each item. That works out to 2-3% of the time. It's not that exceptional... All my tools are of high-quality (although I don't think that matters much).

I got something better than an amazing one time. In my crafting haste, I didn't see it but just noticed it was different. I got an "Exceptional" I believe. I was making a Vibro motor and the knucklers those went into were 47-160, 41% wound chance, 2.1 speed UNSLICED.

Sure, 2-3% isn't that great, but what we're saying is that we're only seeing amazing every 50-100 items. At least that's what i'm seeing.
