Thread: Noob WS question about resource stats and crafting....
hi,
i am almost done mastering the ws tree(im not doing the holo thing, im doing ws a profession) and i was wondering...when you are trying to craft the really high quality weapons what stats do you look at on your resources in deciding if they are any good or not? i think i probably need to know this for the following resources:
1. Metals, Ore's
2. Gases
3. Gems
4. Wood
5. Polymer's
6. Petrochemicals
thanks for the help
Depends on the weapon. Look at a schematic, towards the bottom. It will tell you how much each stat contributes to a weapon's effectiveness. For example, you might see something like:
Experimental Damage:
Attack Speed
Shock Resistance: 100%
Maximum Damage
Shock Resistance: 100%
Wound Chance
Shock Resistance: 100%
This means that the 'shock resistance' stat of each resource that goes into the weapon is most important in determining how far you'll be able to bring up the speed, damage and wound %.
When you look at the schematic for a weapon (either in the datapad or during crafting) if you scroll down to the bottom of the requirements list, it tells you what stats are important for that particular item.
That is FANTASTIC! Wow, I have been crafting for a month and haven't known what that was all about! Wonderful! Thanks!

Gorath-Divinity
Divine Order
so the perfect resources would have 1000 cond. and 1000 OQ
just furthing the point
A good way to flip through a lot of schematics quickly is to go look on SWGCraft.com. The schematics are all out there and you can see which ones need which materials with which stats.
I've started a schematics binder to ease the pile of yellow stickies... ![]()
