There are many threads and a LOTof messages in this forum that talk to this subject but, just because I feel like typing...

The schematics are NOT numbered in any way. That would be too easy. You have toenter a trial schematic number (I'm going to assume you're setting up a macro) and try the macro to see what comes up. Look at your draft schematics and see what position the selected schematic is in vs. the position the desired schematic is in and change the number till you hit it.

A simple example is this: If you put 50 in as the number and you get the item that's one position to the left of what you want, then try 51. Conversely, if you get the schematic to the right of the one you want, try 49.

Clear as mud, eh?

Actually you can start counting just as you do with the Function keys at 00 and go up one with each schematic. When I am crafting armor or tailoring and am using the clothing/armor crafting tool with a crafting station, I only count the schematics that work with that tool. Same with structures. It is trial and error but if I dont have the crafting station droid out it gives me a different schematic than the one with it out, if that makes sense.
