Thread: reparing weapons
Weaponsmiths have a higher rate of success in repairing weapons than non weaponsmiths. While we do not have the % rate like a slicer does, where it is guaranteed, we have an overall better chance depending on our Weapon crafting technique levels and our overall level as a weaponsmith. There is no guarantee in our repairs, but we do better than you can do on your own without weaponsmith training.
I typically charge 10 credits per point of repair, without a guarantee on the work. I have repaired a lot of weapons and have only lost 2 completely.

I have no idea, i think each repair does 50 damage to a gun. i have made a few bux repairing guns
i charge 5k per gun so far i only repaired 15-20 guns without breakingany ofthem i stick to 95-97% kits
i have master
I'm also a master weaponsmith and just broke a good friends kyat flame-thower yesterday using a 99.6% repair kit and a +1 weapon repair skill clothing thing, so its kinda hit or miss even for a master i suppose, although i typically have good success overall

This is a up in the air topic. Some say master weaponsmith get a bonus on repairing the weapon, while other say it doesn't make a different.
In summary, it is all based up chance. The best you could do is ensure the quality of the weapon repair kit you are using. Usually the one above 97% are good. If you bring it to the master weaponsmith, they will use the exact same kit.
It is up to you.
i still doubt if we DO even get any bonus.. i have a skill tape with a +3 repair weapon mod and it reflects on the skill tree UI as 0/+3. so.. my best guess is the 3 came for the tape and the 0 came from... me (doh)
if compared to my bio enhanced shirt that ups my mask scent(+12 mask scent, +12 camo) it reflects in the skill tree UI as : mask scent +70/+82 and camo 0/+12.. cos i m not a ranger. which is totally logical.
so i really do question this belief that master WS have any bonuses.. btw.. it seems i repair armor as good as my master armorsmith business partner ![]()
