Thread: Does anyone know HOW to get the Geonosian pistol schem?

Title says it all, and no dont answer 'Its a drop from the geo labs'
it has to drop of something specefic, does anyone know exactly WHAT?

Actually it isnt a drop, you get it in the same type of way you get the DXR-6b schematic...just you have to kill Acklay for it.

Interesting. I always thought it was a rare drop from the Crazed Geonosians. So the Acklay either drops bones, venom, or this?

Lorrac, forgive me if I doubt you, but iv killed ackley HUNDREDS of times, iv never gotten this.
And iv done that 'unconfirmed' way of talking to that npc, nada.

The Merc Sentries drop it. It drops once in a blue moon. Good luck.

yes its the mercs ive gotten 4 in one night but i havent gotten any more since... on my last scem need more drops lol

Yeah apparen;y it drops from the mercs more often them from the geos, but I've dropped so many mercs its not funny and _still_ haven't looted a schem! :/
In the end I 'looted' one for 2 million credits off my galaxy's trade forum

The mercs definately drop them. I've gotten 5 in one buff before..

That comes by talking to the female NPC not to far into the cave pass the 2nd door and to the left. Very very easy to get.

Ive looted it both off of mercs and off of Crazed Geos. Same with the DXrb whatever.

Yeah back during release of the Lab, when the monsters were more "stupid" I got some 100 or so DXR6-b Schematics in the course of a week. I expected them to "nerf" the schematic to one per character or ATLEAST, randomize the doors codes per character. All you need to do is know how to work the room, get the klikniks to fight anything but you and you can load up on the schematics. Since the Kiliknik's starting shooting flames this hasn't been as easy. But I imagine a group of players could hoard a buttload of rifle schematics in a single buff session if they ran down, got the schematic, ran outside to reset the doors, then ran back in since the DOOR CODES ARE STILL THE SAME.
I dunno why anybody pays for these schematics at all....
