Thread: Lot Swaps, how do they work?

I've seen alot of people offering to swap lots on this server for lots on that server. How does this work? I know the basics, person A creates a toon on Server X, and person B creates a toon on server Y.

But after the swap is complete would you not need the other party to log on and move the harvestors everytime there was a resource shift? Would this not be a pain in the arse?

I currently have two toons on starsider, and this works out well since I'm a packrat. My main toon owns 5 houses that are filled to the brim with crap I've collected over the months, my alternate just kinda borrows space in one of the houses. So I am limited to 10 lots with my alternate, and when there is a good resource shift this never seems like enough.

If the lot swap thing is not a continuous contact with the alternate party than it may be worthwhile, if I can't move the harvestors at will to catch a good shift than it isn't really worth it...

Sorry if this makes no sence, I've only got one coffee in me right now

Usually, you have some person on another server make a toon on yours, and you give him the structures to place. He drops them and then puts you on admin.

You return the favor for him.

Requires a good degree of trust, so I don't do it.
