i dunno if anyone else is getting this or not, so please feel free to try it. whenever i craft a gun, i always like to include a scope, as it increases the damage and also makes my gun look nice as well. well, i'm noticing that if you use a scope out of a factory crate, it doesn't show on a gun, whereas if you handcraft the scope, it DOES show on the gun. methinks this needs to be fixed?

there are a TON of threads on this. simply pull the scope out of the crate before you craft your gun.

Scopes Do Not show on every weapon. There are many list entries which show what does and what does not. Which weapon in particular are you attempting this with ?

Rifles for instance. Below SHOWS:

DLT-20, Scope and Barrel

T-21, Stock (barrel shows but looks like an added Grip)

Laser Rifle, ALL (stock, scope barrel)

That is it, the rest you can just crate since it matters not to the graphic.

does this mean any factory created item will not show the optional components?

Also, I was curious, do the optional components only show up on the players (who has the weapon equipped) screen? Or can everyone see them?

Factory created items do not show optional components, and if you doubleclick a crate when manually crafting, it will not show up either. you have to get item from crate before adding it to the assembly.

And the components show up to everyone

broken - i've tried doing FWG5's and DL-44's, both of which i know show up scopes.

Made a couple of Elite Carbines and an EE3 for a gentleman tonight with stocks,scopes and muzzles showing with now probs.
