Thread: Noob resource question plz help

Im sry if this has been asked b4 but iv looked through the fourms and couldent find it ne where. I have recently became a weponsmith and im mostly grinding but i like to experement with things here and there and iv just been using resources iv been finding on the bazaar I no there is all types of qualityswith each resourcethere is maluability, overall quality, ect. i was wondering what each quality does for a gun and whats considerd good quality thanks for all of your help and again sry if this has been asked before

if you take a look at the schematic you will see under the list of required resources there is a experimentation list this is where the stats you should be looking for of the resources you are using if it says Shock Resist 100% then only the resource SR would apply so it dosent matter if it got 100 or 999 OQ but each schematic is different so you will have to look

Every schematic you have (check your datapad or look when using a crafting tool) will specify which quality is important for that schematic, and different schematics have different requirements. For instance, most firearms have 50% Overall Quality (OQ) and 50% Conductivity (CD) - but the components that go into them may have different requirements like a Projectile Rifle Barrel (50% HR 50% SR).
One of the easiest ways to find out what schematics require the various stats is to check the schematics pages on SWGCraft.com.
Another option is to use a spreadsheet like Jenner & Fooman's Crafting Tool, which will tell you all you need to know and when to harvest it!
