Personally, I did just that.... I did 0-1-0-0 first, allowing me to make scout blasters and projectile rifle barrels, then I did 0-1-0-4 so that I could make decent scout blasters and other low level guns to sell on the bazaar. After that I finished up the firearms line since most of the weapons requests I had were in that line, so I went 0-4-0-4. Finally, I finished up the melee line, and then themunitions line.

I used mainly projectile rifle barrels andblaster rifle barrels for xp, they seemed the fastest and easiest way with the limited resources needed for each.

Phoebe hit it right on the head. you want the first box of firearms first to get proj. rifle barrels, then work up technique so your guns are worth using.

yea i was just about to make a thread asking the same thing.... already got 0-1-0-0 and grinding xp, so i should realy go 0-1-0-4 then start back on firearms crafting...?

 i cant belive it, people are selling steel on the bazaar on valcyn for 500 unit's 3k
**edit** is wrong with people... and its only like 500 OQ...i have no idea what there thinking.
oh well... they would never sell that crap for that price on bria, im pretty sure vaclyn server is a good 5,000 light years behind the rest of the galaxie.

If you are immune to clicking, then do sword cores for grinding. It uses 5% less resources to gain the same amount of xp as doing the blaster barrels (blaster at novice, rifle at firearms1). Sword cores are only 12 steel for 26 xp (in practice mode). Rifle barrels are 47 resources (I think 2 or 3 different ones) for only 96xp. Thatwould be 5 more xp per 100 resources. It is also 300 times more clicking. Your choice.

personelly I went 0-1-0-0 then used the rifle barrel to grind to 0-1-2-0 this allows you to build Heavy Warheads. They use more varried resources and require a private crafting station so that prevents using a macro ( have to manually skip the exp stage). But I hated macro crafting barrels and the warheads give slightly over 700pts apeice. So if you have the money to get the specfic ingrediants it goes quicker. it uses 180 metal, 50 radio active, 10 polymer, 80 skevon reactive gas, 40 thorium steel, and 10 units of another gas I can;t remember exact name but it's like Hyron-3 sumthing or other. Like i said it is a little more techincal to build but if you like seeing progress on you experiance bar move quickly it is worth it.

I forgot to mention the leving speed of my method. Macro grinding of the barrels took me 2 nite to get from 0-1-0-0 to 0-1-2-0 but once i started building the warheads in 1 nite I went to 2-2-4-3. I've had to work the last few nites but i expect to hit master by tuesday. providing I can get enough aprenticeship pts. (don't have much time to train others and I refuse to be one of the fools that runs around town shouting that i'll pay someone to let me train them)
