Thread: Macro Broke my tool?

I'm having a bit of a problem. Admittedly, I am a holo ho. I worked by hand through Droid Engineer to master, but now I'm trying to get through Weaponsmith due to a holo. The problem I've encountered is the macro. I did each step by hand, and hit a wall. For some reason the /nextCraftingStage is not working, and its causing my tool to break. After I type it in, it breaks, and if I try to push "Assemble" by hand with the mouse it says that the required feilds are not filled for this schematic even though they are all full. This is the macro I used.

/ui action toolbarSlot03; (works)

/selectDraftSchematic 148; (works)

/pause 5; (as far as I know works)

/nextCraftingStage; (Breaks and can't continue even with mouse clicking on Assemble)

/nextCraftingStage; (does nothing)

/pause 3

Am I just bugged oram I not doing something right? This is the first time I've tried to macro crafting items. Any help would be appriciated.

By the way, I also tried /next instead of /nextCraftingStage to no avail

I was having the same problem, and found a post with the answer, which I bumped. But to save you the trouble, here is the deal:

You MUST put the WHOLE macro in for it to work. I haven't tried it, but I would assume that it would also work when typing the commands by hand IF after you type /nextCraftingStage (and nothing appears to happen) you then proceed to type the rest of the commands to complete the item. I starting off doing the same thing, trying to build the macro one command at a time, and ran into the same problem. Put in the whole macro, with the /CreatePrototype stuff etc, and it should work. You will not see the rest of the crafting screens, and will get a message saying "Crafting session ended" or something to that effect, but if you look, you'll see that your crafting tool will be counting down and that it did indeed work. Or at least that's my experience, at any rate.

Hope this helps!

Were you macoring in the move? Sometimes if you cross a server zone when crafting, you can get your session to sort of lock up.

Server reset should fix it.
