Hello fellow weaponsmiths,

I just logged on this morning to grind my last 50k xp for master. After about 24k steel and an hour and a half (i use a macro) I checked my xp and there was no change. All my steel was ground, with nothing to show for it. I tested a little, and when i craft with the macro, i notice the timer countdown doesnt show over my crafting tool anymore (on my action bar). i can get xp if i start the macro, then manually finish the process by clicking the steps manually. Seems theres a new bug.

Mymacro worked great all week, even last night, so i dont think its a macro issue. I created a customer service ticket, so we'll see what happens.

Please, for your own sake, double check you're xp gain today, it might save you some time and resources.

I noticed this last night also. I hit about 57k exp while trying to work on a 63k box. Yes I did have Melee and muntions that I qualified in the level 1 box but I wanted the experimentation. I noticed that it hit the 57k amount and just stopped gaining exp. I went real quick and got trained in munitions and started crafting again with the exp going again also. Real strange that would have a 57k cap when you have boxes that require more then that to get them. Only thing I can think of is that it capped that way cause I still had low level boxes to qualify for and SOE did this to keep you from grinding all the exp at once then just going to get trained. It is a simple way to make people take a bit more time to get it down. Granted it is not a lot if you are close to a Trainer anyway.

if you used the macro within range of any crafting station this will happen with 100% certainty

Well unless you write your macro to handle the crafting station (one /nextCraftingStep each tmie you use that command).

These days I've been crafting in front of two stations since I like to have my R2 out patrolling the house while I craft

i'll have to try the /nextCraftingStep instead of /nextCraftingStage the next time i decide to grind another crafting profession (contemplating selling weapons AND armor)

Nah it's stage, I'm at work so I was pulling it from memory. It definitely works though. Everytime you have the pair of /nextCraftingStage commands in your macro, add one more.

So this only occurs when crafting next to a station without the extra /next? Doesn't happen in any other instances?

To all this is not a bug, simply a way to force you to get up and get trained. It happened to me as well. I was working tuwards Expert Firearms and decided to kep grinding after I made my XP, I don't know how long I had been going before I noticed that it capped out exactly 7K after my box limit.
