Whats the Best way to gain Weapon Crafting xp? For Someone thats at 0-0-0-0 and just became a Novice Weaponsmith?

when you find out let me know....

Find a good macro (there are several posts regarding macros) and grind on Blaster Rifle Barrels. I get about 30k xp an hour after some macro tweaking. Be prepared to do a TON of clicking (try mapping a mouse button to double click).

Metal Staffs are also a decent grinding option.

Metal staffs are pretty awesome! Get some crap metal (preferably mine it with a harv to get best price) and grind away! Fast, ONE resource, and its, well, fast! Actually, lemme repphrase that. Its slow, but not slowER. WS is harsh...

I like the metal staffs better than the blaster rifle barrels since metal staffs you can use any kind of crap metal, (you need steel with the barrels) and it takes less resources overall.
You get 88xp per metal staff crafted, and it takes something like... 40 metal to make one.

I'm now at 0/1/0/1 in weaponsmith.... just put down my first few medium harvesters on some good copper deposits. Hopefully I'll have the 7000000000000000000000 or so units of metal it costs to get master ws as fast as possible ;P

Defiantly read the sticky thread. I will finish grinding to master tomorrow and it will have taken me about ten hours altogether.

I did the grind in about 7 days using the metal staff method. Can seem mindless but you can set your mouse to double click with single click so you really just click once to get it to go.

For people recommending metal stave:

This schematic requires FOUR resource clicks rather than the TWO required for Pro. rifle barrel, so I would only grind stave until FA craft 1, to avoid RSI.

Grants 4 or 6 more xp per session also...
