Is itby usinguber scopes? How would one go about making a carbine with, say, +75 @ 50m?
Thanks 'smithees.

Scopes add accuracy as well as you can experiment the barrel and weapons accuracy as well. I will be making some high accuracy weapons on Ahazi server tonight.

I have not tried to craft barrels for accuracy but you would be giving up maybe 10 min/max dmg at the most as rifle barrels I can only get mine up to 12min/12max with best resources I can find.
Now scopes can be made easily with 37 accuracy and higher with top of the line resources. Mine add 18 ham, and I am not using the best resources I can, still looking for green diamond that's better.
I made these the other night using looted exceptional barrels and scopes and the Imp themepark stocks. Each used 42 and 45 dmg tissue.

Thanks.
What do you typically have to sacrifice for accuracy? Min/Max Damage? Speed? Or can you choose? Are the compromises among the stats relatively equal? Any little quirks to this? *whew* ![]()
I want to know what I'm talking about when dealing with WS's. I don't think I need to be using anymore +16 @ 50m carbines. Just too much defense out there right now.

Recently i have been makeing everything i can with scopes. When it comes to PvP now the difference between life and death can be that range modifier. HAM cost is not nearly as important with the crazy buffs.
Your best bet to get good accuracy with keeping the damage the same is on weapons that are lower quality by default like the DX2. I normaly get 16-17% to play with so i am able to put more into HAM. Since i can drop HAM i can go ahead and make a nice scope and end up with a weapon with the same HAM as default and around +25-30 to ideal range.

If you experiment the barrel, scope, and stock for range first your final weapon can have an ideal range mod over+90 for a laser carb and +115 for laser rifles. The highest I've seen is an ideal of like +128 on a laser rifle. If you make the weapon like that you do sacrifice a little dmg, but those weapons are the bane of defense mod stackers.
For most of my weapons I exp the barrel for dmg first then put the rest into range. That gives them a nice little boost in the range mods. If I put a barrel like that together with an adv scope the ideal range mod turns out around +60 for an elite carbine. (numbers are not exact, I'm writting them from memory)
