I predict the messege he is going to give. "Weapons are now going to be harder to make good.".. somthing along those lines and how it will create a stronger sense and pull for economic whatever... /sigh..

I think he is trying to come up with something that sounds good...won't be good, but he wants it to sound vague and mysterious.

Vague and Mysterioius, hehe

Sorry, that's beyond me. My plans are simple.

Send HUGE e-mail to past customers in game, Talk about a HUGE sale, everything must go.

then Offer to a couple "apprentice" weaponsmiths i know my resources and such.

contact my cross server business partners.

then after a few weeks, cancel account,

nope, i can't do mysterious. I like things plain and simple. (it's not a threat, I've always felt that games should be fun. If they're not, then it's time to find something else to spend my time and money on)

The statement will obviously completely overlook the junk Rodium Steel and Plumbum with < 100 conductivity.

This already has a large effect of decreasing weapon quality without it becoming an even larger one.

Sad days.

After reading the post that Dunlop linked to, I have to say that I don't feel as harshly as I did before. I do agree with the devs that the economy is having some serious problems, and I do agree that crafting professions are difficult to break into. I myself have been having a hard time etching a living as a Weaponsmith. The problem is that this is only going to make it MORE difficult for new weaponsmiths. Why? Because I don't know about you other Masters out there, but I'm making extra schematics for all my existing weapons so I don't have to worry about this crap system for anything except the new loot schematics and what not. This means that new weaponsmiths, who didn't have the benefit of stockpiling schematics for the good weapons, will only be able to make less quality weapons. Even with the exact same resources, and all the experimentation points of us existing Smiths, their weapons will still be less quality. So how the he11 do they expect new Smiths to break into a profession with THAT kind of competition. I agree that things are broken, but I think this is the wrong way to fix them.
