Thread: SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE CRAFTING NERF!

The devs have "explained" the crafting nerf as something that is intended to fix the economy, despite the hundreds of posts giving concrete reason of how it will do the opposite.

This nerf will effectively render useless all new crafters and even masters without 12 experimentation points, by making it take far more experimentation points to max a crafting attribute than it currently does. This means ALL multi-line items will soon be clones, and much, much worse versions than the items possible now. It also means that the prices on the myriad pre-nerf items will skyrocket to unbelievable heights.

Speak out against this game-breaking idea! Believe it or not, the devs ARE monitoring the thread for feedback!!!

Devs,

You cannot build up the game by continually tearing down one class after another. You cannot "fix" the economy by destroying the engines of industry because you prefer other engines. The crafting nerf is not wanted, not needed, and will harm the economy further. Stop destroying things and start BUILDING things up ... and if you build long enough you will have an epic game that the whole world will want to play. Continue to destroy one thing after another and you will have a game that holds the interest of very few. Stop this nerf non-sense.

All this "adjustment" does is make the crafting process more true and real! Why can you all not understand that? Your success will now depend on your skills, abilities and quality of resources, how can you possible complain about that?

I've read the explanationandI've stated my thought on that thread. Basically I find the reasoning to be unconvincing and flawed. Many of the "reasons" show a lack of understanding of the very system they wish to "fix"! The change will not have the desired effect, peroid.

Our success already depends on our skills, abilities and quality of resources. The experimentation change doesn't make that any different. And how, exactly, will the changes make the crafting process "more true and real!". Please, enlighten me.
