As a new weaponsmith, I have been making a few crates of each weapon to stock my vendors.
I noticed that a couple of the weapons are identical, except slight changes in the name.
DLT-20 Rifle & DLT-20A Rifle
DH-17 Carbine & DH-17 Short Carbine.
I noticed no differences in the stats or look between the rifles.
I only noticed the barrel visual difference and that the Short carbine has a higher complexity.
What is the point of this?
And is there something thatis gonna be done about them? Like being replaced with something with a more usefull difference.

They have different skill certifications. Not much of a difference, but early on in marksman you can be limited to certain ones. The stats vary slightly between them, but it's not a huge difference.

Actually...
The DH17 Carbine, and the DH17 Short Carbine have different ideal ranges. The short, has a reduced range.
As for the DLT20, and 20A... I havent noticed a difference yet.
