hi guys im not a weaponsmith but i just bought four pimp ass looking FWG5 pistols. I noticed b4 i purchased that there was no difference between the one with a scope and the one w/o one. But i bought it anyways because it looked awesome. now my question is, is there really a difference or r they just for looks? plus what other weapons can be made with the "custom" scopes.

A scope should at to your chances to hit

for example:

+23 to hit at ideal range with no scope

+46 to hit at ideal range with a +23 scope

Sometimes the scopes are visible and sometimes they ain't........

If the weapon was made with componants from a factory crate, all you will get is the default look. You must hand make weapons in order to transfer the graphics to the weapon. Which usually results in another garbage can full of scopes or stocks by the time you get the one you want. Hence I charge quite a bit more for such, displayable weapons.
