Thread: Questions from a New MWS

I have just reached MWS and am very excited about being a full member of this great profession. I do need advice though on three issues (I apologize if these questions have been answered on other threads; I searched, but I may be blind).
First, I have scoured the galaxy and purchased many of the specialty resources required in crafing the advanced components. The one that I cannot seem to find anywhere is Ostrine Carbonate Ore. I also checked on SWGCraft.com and it appears that it is not spawning on Flurry. Is this the norm? I just want to make sure I am not going to be searching forever for a resource which no longer exists.
Second, I have several temporary schematics and wanted to check to see if the temporary uses equals maximum quantity that can be made of the weapon or if I can make a manufacturing schematic from one of the temporary uses.
Third, what is the secret to finding Krayt dragons? With the sheer number of tissues always being sold on the trade forum, I thought seeing (not killing) one would not be too hard. However, I searched for three nights around a large area surrounding the Krayt graveyard and never found one. At this point, I am not even worried about trying to get the tissue; I just want to see one. Do I need to procure the services of a ranger or is their spawn on a schedule?

GL, WS is one of the hardest professions to stick with, and one of the most rewarding..
Resources run in cycles, not everything needed to make every weapon will spawn at one time. Unless you are buying old resources, you may have to wait weeks if not months before a decent spawn comes along of something you don't have. Talk to established smiths and see if you can purcahse their "2nd or 3rd best", most will not part with their "server best" stock (I know I usually wont).
Finding krayts is kinda hard unless you are lucky or have Ranger Area Tracking. Consider hiring a ranger to track them for you, but keep in mind they are by no means easy to kill. (Unless you are a master rifleman or swordsman with uber armor and weapons).
