you can only have avender hold 110 items at most at master merchant. come on siyber and DK have thousands of weapons and you can only hold 660 items in total with all venders. i myself only have one vender so in order to get 660 items i need 6 venders and need to sacrifice master rifleman....this pisses me off.

Boy am I glad I'm cancelling.
This is gonna ruin what little pleasure there was in vendors for people who only had nov merchant for the 2 NPC vendors.
110 items? I mean W.T.F? I was never a huge volume smith but even I had around 400-500 weapons on sale at any one time.
The people coding this obviously have no clue of the in game systems they're affecting. Armour is going to feel the pinch on this severely as are chefs.
But where are thecommon sense approaches?Ideas like loading a crate of items onto the vendor and allowing buyers to choose the amount they wish to buy, which are then pulled from the crates. This would save the time of pulling singles out to sell, having to individually relist and most importantly (from the dev's side of things) save on their godamn precious database space.
Were such a crate system implemented we could perhaps deal with an item limit of this low figure I mean a few crates of the most popular sellers, a selection of individual loot weapons, and some space left over maybe. But no, ideas like this take away the insidious timesinks that SOE seem to adore. They also probably take a lot of effort to code whereas a nerf (lets call it what it is) like this can be recoded in an afternoon.
Like I say I'm glad I'm quitting (due tothe continuing lies about combat balance, jedi-favouritism, useless schematics, the list goes on) but it really saddens me to see this game be continually "fixed" in this manner.
The inmates have been left in charge of the asylum here IMO. Good luck to them, and roll on the 27th.

As I see it.what they are trying to do is make people keep merchant in order to have vendors. As of now (at least before I got deployed) you could level in merchant, place vendors, and then drop merchant and keep your vendors. This will prevent that from happening. I had read that they wanted to stop that frm happening and it looks like they took ita little to far. If I have to have master merchant to fully stock vendors it will put a serious damper on my gameplay. I understand why they are doing it, and agree to a point, but they have taken it to far.

This change wontencourage people to keepmerchant it will encourage them to drop it all together! I've been a legitimate merchant from the start of this game and this is simply the last straw. I don't play SWG so that i can spend 2-3 hours a day restocking my vendors. If the DEVs are gonna keep turning this game into work then people are gonna simply stop playing.
GET A GRIP! STOP RUINING OUR GAME!

If they go to this i am cancleing all 3 of my accounts as i have a storage problem already!Like he said this is an out rage.Come on Dev surely you can think of something better?I me add a storage center to our house's or something ,hell you could say i am a collecter of fine items and such ,i mean i may stock up on an item for use later on in a different profession.Come on you guys are smart,I think, you can come up with something better than this, trust me when i say you are going to see a dramatic decline in crafters and a depresion in the economy of our galaxies.I love to craft and crafting requires larg amounts of resources Right ,house do you expect us to keep resources to craft with ,hummmmm, right didn't think of that one,did ya? Well all i can say is if it go's to this than consider my accounts canceled!!!!
Sorry for any spelling errors as i am so outraged i can even think straight!!!
(Devs come up with some thing else,There must be another way!)

Simple economics here folks... if i can only store 110 pieces of crap on my vendor... EVERYONE'S PRICES WILL SKYROCKET! If i cant sell all my weapons... then all the weapons i do sell will be a lot more expensive than they were... no more 10k flame throwers on my vendor(good ones too)...

I dont have a problem with there being an item limit, but 110 item per vendor? That is INSANE.
The consequences of this is beyond just inconvienience to crafters. If I can only carry a maximum of 660 items at master merchant, that means I can only stocka couple of each weapon instead of the 10-30 I stock now. Which means that the vendor will sell out of any particular weapon.
The result will be that the thousands of adventurer players will NEVER be able to find what they need.
I assume the Devs are doing this in response to thecomplaints they hear from people whoare upsetthat they arent making billions their first month of weaponsmithing and are crying that there are Monopolies.
Ive said it before and Ill say it again. Its utterly impossible for there to be monopolies. What it is is lazy players looking to make what they think is easy money without putting as much work into it as the dedicated crafters do.
All that will happen is that adventurer players wont find the equipment they need which will lead to increased frustration for EVERYONE.
