Ok so Im sitting in my house crafting, going through bags of materials
and find a couple crates of my old Spider Fanged Projectile Feeders (64 max dmg)
So make some featherweight runs with them and had 3-4 left over...
I look through the other weapons to see what these worked for and saw Striker Pistols
At first I was like naaaaah. Then I tought. I have a pistoleer and going on
Nightsisters hunts sucks because:
A) They are resistant to all my higher level guns 90-100%
B) We "pistoleers" dont really have any Armor Piercing.
Anyways... So I craft 4 Stryker Pistols that come out to something like......
89-158
2.1
I get them all sliced and get 2 with
89-206
2.1
or so then with a powerup the hit roughly
115-277
2.1
I think a little more... If a Pistoleer had a 277dmg Kinetic pistol
using Last ditch, a BH pistol more, or a Master Pistoleer move...
He would actually be useful on a hunt...
Either way was wondering if it seems like a good idea to you guys to market this....
Thanks!

I too am hearing more and more people ask about enhanced Strikers for Nightsister hunting. Can't say if I've heard from any "end users" yet though.

I've also found that Nightsisters are weak on energy defence. I started using a republic blaster and its been fairly effective.

Before I dropped pistoleer to Master WS yes I used a gorax enhanced striker just for NS with low kinetic resists. Doesn't do a hell of a lot becasue of no AP but every little bit helps.

Ya its not as good as picking up a little TK but a good damage sliced stryker pistol can be useful. An enhanced FWG5 would probably sell better though.

I non enhanced max 130 stricker does abput 50-100 Damage with body shot 2, making it quite uses less with out DoTs to a 50k HAM NS. USing Torso shot, does 100-200 with the e130 max, which is unslcied and no power up. IF you have no Melee a good stricker pistols is a must for NS hunting. Im gonna get alot of stricker made with Spider Fangs so it can be 160 unsliced and hope for atleast 1 good slice.

Well with buffs being in the state they are HAM costs are some what irrelavent but I believe you'll find the costs to be pretty minimal on the striker. I've used them to good effect with the sisters but as far as weapons go they're pretty much useless in most situations.
There definately needs to be a retooling of all the schematics in the game. The Striker, Vibroblade, Cleaver etc etc etc should be evaluated for their efficacy. Certain weapons such as the Rykk blade do not provide enough of a benefit over the curved sword to be worth using.
