Hi folks. I wanted to know if there was a drop that would make LVAs better than just the standard stuff a MWS could make? Or are pikeman just kind of boned here in the rare drop wep enhancing stuff? thanks

Well, you could use the vibro motors that drop off Nym's guys (among others), but you'll need them in sets, since pikes require 2-3 vibro blade units each. Or, you could go for the Nightsister Vibro Blade Units from Axkva Min, but...well, i'm sure you know how much fun that is as a pikeman 
Although, I'd hardly say that pikemen are "boned" in the rare loot department. Pikemen have by far the best source of whole looted weapons in the game (i.e. Nightsisters). While they don't drop enhancements, these looted weapons can be much better than crafted, and they have the added bonus of having extremely low HAM costs much of the time. The really good pikes are rare, but definately worth it.

Gonna have to agree with Sabacc on this one. While it is possible to get some looted components for polearms (Nym's vibro units, NS vibro motors), Nym's stuff will get you 60 max dam on an LVA, 40 on a Vibro lance and if you go and get the NS vibro motors, you might as well just get someone to make you a Nightsister Energy Lance. The loots, however, you can get for pikeman are easily some of the best in the game. I know one of my guild's Docs used to be a Pikeman, in his house he's got eight lances with dots, three of them infinite, plus an infinite dot on a +25 Counterattack, +20 Pikeman accuracy LVA, all of which have really low HAM costs. So I definitely reccomend shopping around on your servers trade forum for a looted polearm.

As said, Pikeman gets the shaft for loot components. Instead, we're 'blessed' with f*cking loot weaponry.
