First off, I know the knee jerk reaction is to assume anyone who asks this question is a moron. I'll ask in advance that you don't do that. Anyhow, has anyone noticed a crafting change since the latest patch?
Scenario:
* Building DXR6 carbines using identical resources and better (higher damage) components than those used on a schematic I previously made.
* The schematic was nothing special; several great results. There were no experimental anomalies in making it. I made it about 2 months ago.
* Now, I'm trying to craft a new DXR6 build and I'm capping much lower than previously. I'm capping at 6 points fewer damage when I should be gaining about 5 points damage due to the improved components.
Old build (w/ stock): 158-229/3.7
New build (w/ stock): 155-223/4.1
I can't make heads or tails of this. I've repeated the same thing about a dozen times. No moderate sucesses or crit fails and yet the DXR6 comes out much, much worse than the old one.
Any thoughts?

my DXR-6B stats have stayed the same. about 313-314 without a stock, and 352 with a stock.

Since Publish 10, I'm getting a lot more Moderate Successes, and a lot less amazing successes with experimentation. I've been nervous about using Krayt tissue because of this.
My crafting tools are +14.96 and my station is +42.xxx. I've DEFINATELY noticed a big difference in crafting. And I've also been capping out a lot lower lately.

Hey Jeb you must be getting mixed up somewhere. I don't see how your first carbine could be speed 3.7 with a stock. Remember we're on the same server. I use top resource (my dxr6 carbines have 233 max dmg) and the speed on my stocked ones is 4.1.
Please clarify this, and also today when the dang server comes back up I'll try crafting a new dxr6 and see what I get for a result. I'll report it back here.

Good feedback, all...
Mira, the stats on my old DXR6's are accurate. I can show you the schematic if you're interested. That's curious that your old DXR6's were maxing out at 223 max dmg. I thought I had hit 229 several times back then, but maybe I'm wrong. Seeing your stats makes me think that may be the case.
I'm actually using Ravo, Ebaoriexe, and Erobase. I only use Egaciam on Krayt weapons.
So, do I win 100K?

Yep there has been no change in the crafting. FYI as a correction, my old (and new ones today) are 223 not 233. Those are with 40/40 stocks, advanced 11/11 barrels, 20/41 power handlers, and the top resources.
If you truly did have 229s with 3.7 speed stocked before, those were one of those 'fluke' super asemblies - you just got lucky on that. IT happened to me also about a year ago with DXR6s, I had a 3.7 stocked when that's never been normally possible.
Smiths from other servers won't know these names, but I'm willing to bet 100k you're using Libei titanium, Ebaoriexe platinite, and Erobase polysteel to make the 155-223/4.1. Although the antique Egaciam titanium appears as though it may be technically superior, it gives the same stats on the weapon.

I don't remember my stats exactly off the top of my head but I think mine are 223 as well. You are you sure you got the 229 on several schematics? The only think I can think of is maybe you made the 229 schematic on the "patch day" (remember the one day they changed the crafting system). It's possible for you to have gotten the higher stats then.

Egan, you may be right. It's a while back but I'm not sure exactly when. In any event, guess I'll stick with the old schematic. Now, how much do I charge for them?
