Kind of funny how pre-CU there was more weapon variety due to lack of individual weapon caps. But since armor had its own restrictions you would only see 1 type of armor being worn.
Now post-CU it's the opposite. Armorsmiths can make any type of armor with great stats, but weapons are limited to the best for their respective professions (for the most part). We've gone from all composite with different weapons to different outfits all holding scatters and VLs.
I'd love a reason to carry around a cryolance or electric polearm.
It'd be neat if there was a CL restriction put on when you craft a weapon, you can make a powerful cdef but it'll have a CL70 requirement, sort've like the pet crafting system. I can't even imagine how broken & buggy it would come out though.
