Thread: Which Max Tissues to use for the various guns

I've been told that there are now caps for damage on the 3 types of guns (Rilfes, Carbines, Pistols)

Does anyone know what Krayt tissue will cap each gun type?


I have some 189 Damage tissues and dont want to waste them on a pistol if a Tissue with 130 damge willhit the pistoldamage capwith no problem...

I have this same Q with some Casings I got that are 182 Damage.

Take the unenhanced versions of the weapon you want crafted and subtract the max dam from the cap the number you get indicates the stats on the enhancers you need to cap

Ok so say a DL44XT has a cap of 946.


So a normal DL44XT made with just materials usally hits say 800, then a Krayt Tissue with damage of 146 is all I need basicaly to cap the gun... I know this all depends on the quality of the materials used by the weaponsmith....


here's another questions, if all that is needed for the example above is a Tissue with 146 damage to cap damage, what happens if I have the weaponsmith use the 189 tissue, will this free up experimental points that he would normal use in damage line to be used in say SAC line instead?


Sorry if my question are dumb, its just i've never done the weaponsmith profession so im not possitive how everything works...

yes and no. if you use the higher dmg tissues you will have a lower minimum dmg since you spent less pts in damage experimentation. yes you will have lower sac cost though.
