weapons did not improve. the only way the improve is if you have more then the normal 10 experimentation points.

Biggens, IMO, you're half right and half wrong. While it's true that the weapons have not gotten better, our ability toapproach the maximum statistics on a given weapon/component seems to have improved dramatically.

Hence they did improve.

Depends on your idea of better. If the crafter has +20 experimentation and can use 12 experiment dots, then yea, the results come better for one line, but at the sacrifice of something else.
I can make higher damage weapons with this patch, at the price of having higher HAM.
For crafters that do not have + experimentation SEA tapes, this would kill them. Thier products would not compare to the old masters that have aquired +20 in tapes. The monopolies that the patch was supposed to help break would only be reinforced.
The really stupid thing is that they pushed this patch to live, so now every crafter that has +20 will stock up on schematics today before the hotfix tomorrow, and for many months to come they will be able to produce better items because of this patch.
Way to go undevelopers...
PS. I'm one of those with +experimentation and would have benefitted, and still I think this was one of the more boneheaded moves by the undevelopers at SWG.

This appears to be a bug; the armorsmithshave a thread about it.

This is NOT a nerf. I have talked to players on my server, and armor has improved, doctor medicines have improved, and now, weapons have improved.
Now that we can test these changes on our own server and our own resources, we see the real effects. And they aren't bad.
Keep the changes, I say!
