Thread: Weapon exploits

Okay guys, I'm not a WS and have no idea how this stuff rates, I bought a cool gun today for 20k wasn't expensive obviously, a DX2 at that. What is the average speed for these? What's the fastest you've seen with a power up and speed slice?

I'm just praying my gun hasn't been exploited and would cry if I had to get rid of it.

I've seen weapons for sale that have ungodly stats -- .1 attack speeds etc. and are obviously exploited.

Is there any way to tell if a gun has been exploited? Should I try to get it sliced (won't that tell me it's been atleast sliced once before)?

Thanks

Might help if you gave us your stats...

I thought of that, but then I figured some troll would tell me to destroy a perfectly good weapon that hasn't been exploited. But needless to say the max and min damage are average 80ish - 175ish, it's the attack speed that concerns me. It has a 1.1 attack speed WITH a power up. And I'm sure it's been sliced already.

Note: all this refers to a weapon before the publish, I'm not sure how the new sliced tags for weapons work.

Of course I could be worrying over nothing as I have a quite a few pistols with 1.7 attack speeds.

I've got a DX-2 with nearly as good stats with a power up on Sunrunner. The speed only gets down to 1.2.

Mine was a Krayt DX-2, made back when it was possible.

It's possible your's is also. Or someone found some really nice Nym pieces...

It's still possible to do a krayt dx2 because they still use power handlers. The fwg5 is probably what you're thinking of, Aurora.

They're like 2.4 with adv barrel. Regular barrel would give 2.2 or 2.3, goes to 1.5 with 30% slice, 1.1 with 33% speed powerup.

A 2.4 would go to 1.7 with 30% slice and 1.2 with 33% powerup.

It's ahrd to judge without havgin stats.. I think the answers here pretty much over it. For future though anytime you have a sta question give the stat sright off WITHOUT the powerup on it. Makes it much easier to eyeball something.
