Thread: Species and +10 weapons assembly?

I already have an alt character, who pretty much is used solely to place harvesters and a vendor to sell rare loots. I have always wanted to do a crafting profession, and after doing them all for the grind on my main, i think i'd enjoy ws the most. So my question, should I remake my alt character as one of the two species that has weapons assembly +10? Do these species specific stats actually work, and if so, would it be worth the trouble of removing my 100+ items from my vendor, transferring structures etc, from my current alt to my main in order to delete him and make a new one. Thanks, any advice is appreciated....oh yeah, current alt is a trandoshan

Not worth the time and effort. It will just end up saving you the trouble of getting +25 in tapes, only +15 to be competitive with older smiths.

so are you saying it would not be worth it, just to go ahead with it with my current alt and try to get the extra +10 in tapes?

yeah, i have a mon cal and it just happened to work out that he gets the +10, i didnt plan it that way and i wouldnt have gone back and destoryed another guy to create one of them. those tapes are cheap enough, its the exp that sells for tons.
