Sorry if this is one of those annyoing questions you guys get all the time, but this is the first time I have ever had any tissues, the stats are +39, -.687, 11 tissues

I am a master marksman right now, I was thinking about getting a t21 made and going rifleman but I am mainly just a crafter (DE) who uses master marksman for guild hunts and defending myself. Any other suggestions?

From what I have learned just today I assume i need 1 tissue per power handler in schematic plus oneextra for factory orsomething like that? Why do you guys need to make the krayt weapon in a factory?

The weapon itself isn't made in the factory--just the power handlers. The schematics for guns that require multiple power handlers say "identical power handlers from a factory crate." This means that all the power handlers must have the same serial number, thus requiring the use of a factory to make them. But the weapon itself will be hand-made.

you will use one tissue to make a run of Karyt enhanced Power handlers. When done you will have 10 matching enhanced power handlers. you can split these up a multitude of ways, the T21 as you said. Or consider a Jawa and a DX6 disrupter. Or make a stack of republics and scatters and sell them. There's a multitude of ways to go. But consider this, you put all 10 into a t21 and get a critical fail....well let's not even think about that.

Master marksman thinking of moveing up a teir. Do not let a gun decide for you. If you decide to do a t21 you really are takeing a gamble with a very valuable resource. Supposedly a t21 will blow up one in three times during final assembly. I would suggest you take into account what you would be fighting on average. If you are a crafter odds are you want a weapon you can use and fend off the things that usually jump you. Those are some fast tissues so they will do quite well in a pistol. Most of master marksman pistols are one tissue jobs.

My advice is simple use the tissues to get as many guns as possible. With repairs being aweful why have krayt weaponry for a month when if you play your cards right you could be set for half a year. With that many tissues you could have a laser rifle a laser carbine two pistols a dh17 a modified republic and maybe a tangle pistol. That way you have two real high end damage weapons a decent pistols a dot weapon in the modifieds bleed, and a tangle pistol to deliver a stat modifier like stun.

This no matter how you look at it is a great combo of weapons to have on hand. Power speed dot and stun. Your krayt bonus will always be useful in almost every situation. If you go rifle you have a good rifle. If you go carbine the laser will have you set. If you go pistoleer smuggler or bh those pistols will be useful.

Also you evade the t21 gamble which can result in you loseing everything, and with multiple guns you are pretty much assured that even if in some bizarre way one of these less complex guns fail you still got four.

sorry i guess the tangle use projectile feed. Then you might want to try a striker it does kinetic damage. I think that one uses a handler. Forgive me if I am not sure. Few people take the time to buy the lowerend pistols. So I make them once every couple weeks.

Striker uses a feed mechanism also. I just went through 8 spider fangs and tried to make as many different weapons as possible with 'em.

Dang then I guess the only valid remaining option would be one of the two dh17 carbines.

DH17 Carbine is a *terrible* idea. It's AP0.

The E11 Carbine only uses 1 tissue, and is AP1 (and usually comes out with better stats).

DXR Disruptor rifle and the Jawa Ion Rifle both require five power handlers. So one tissue could be used to make a schematic and the remaining 10 tissues could be used in the power handlers so you could have one of each rifle(or two of one or the other). If you put them in a Disruptor Rifle, make sure to use Green Power Cubes, to increase the weapon's condition (otherwise it will only have around 700 condition). Yes, the form fitting stock can be used in the Disruptor Rifle, but not on the Jawa Ion Rifle, iirc.

People are a little too tight about the armor rateing on some guns. If your utterly pvp oriented then yes it might be better to go for a higher armor rateing, but some professions use carbines for other things then damage such as knockdowns dizzys. In that case the armor peirceing really has no value. Not to mention all creaturesare not heavy armor.

From my experience a dh17 can be made increadibly fast as carbines go. Even before you take in a tissue. They can do 3.0 speed add ina slice and you have a very fast weapon. Second it has a comparable damage on it. With a great polysteel and super iron, you might be looking at a min damage of like 115 or more. Depending on the quality of your resources and components. You could do quite well.

You just need to be mindful of how you use it and against what. Which is already the case with every other weapon in the game anyway. Try out a llc on a woolamander or a dxr8 carbine on a nightsister.
