I asked one of our weaponsmiths in my guild if he could make an Elite Krayt carbine. He told me he needed 5 tissues for it, which is what I had on hand exactly. The tissue was 30+ dmg. I wasn't expecting anything legendary

Well the stats on the carbine are 4.4 speed 110-204 dmg 60-70 HAM. Do these stats sound right for a krayt weapon? It sounds slow and weak. Maybe I'm wrong.

Thanks for your input.

Sounds a bit dodgy to me but then I don't know what his normal Elites comeout at. You'd need to see a normal Elite ( with an adv.stock since yours has one, judging by the HAM). My stocked Elite is 121-222 3.9 but that is using good ditanium steel. If the guy has bad ditanium or polonium his may well be lower, or he could have had a bad roll either while making the schematic for the power handlers or while making the gun itself.

Even so the speed reduction on the tissue should be a lot more noticeable than it is on yours but like I say, we'd need to know the base stats of the smiths normal Elites.

The jury is out.

Using Valcuns Best Ditanium Steel I think the best Elites were around 190max damage.

Using Valcyn's 3rd Best Ditanium I think I'm around 186. So it chances are it is a Krayt Elite and his experimentation wasnt very good, or the Ditanium your smith was using was even worse than the stuff I used to get my damage in the 180's (I'm guessing the latter)

But it is enhanced, that is known because the stats are over 200.

hmm if youasked for an advanced stock, then chances are he never used the tissue. WIth an advanced stock maxxed out and Krayt tissue you should have over 230 max damage easily.

Could be right it really could be a question about how he did it. He may have rotten materials not only for the stock but the power handlers the barrel. Did you ask for a great range or wound chance on the weapon and low ham. He might have used a basic stock and a advanced scope.

He might have had a couple failures on the power handlers. I have said it over and over why dont people check the base model of the weapon first. Now you will never be certain whether he robbed you or did a horrid job. Remember discuss what is going to be done with the weapon in detail with your smith. If they are worth anything they will give you options on what will be used.

From whether you want advanced stock scope or barrel, or the basics depending on what the advantages and disadvantages are.

What area do you want addressed. Most smiths will max out the bar on damage speed if you tell them, but if you make requests like low as possible ham or high durability. Then you are really giveing contradictory requests.

Remember everything done in the construction of a weapon comes at a price. Real high damage will cost alot of ham. Low ham will cost you alot in damage. High durability can cost you high ham and low damage speed.

The high end damage sounds good the low end on some guns is harder to raise. Also remember if you are compareing to anothers elite that theirs might have already been sliced.

Had someone tell me my llcs were too weak. Which I know is not the case since I use advanced all the way bent for leather damage. I asked him how high he thought it should be he said nine hundred max. To which I replied was it sliced, and he said whats that.
