I bet many people have said this before but, i have to say it myself or els ei will go insane!

When you go novice weaponsmith you get the schemetic to buil a dl20 rifle., and the schemetics to make the sub items for it! HOWEVER for you to make the rifle you need a blaster rifle barrel (or something) like that, this schemetic you get when u get firearms lvl 1!! WHAT THE HELL!! Im starting to wonder if the devs really think before they made this proffesion!!!

It's been around so long that it's not really a big deal. Some people have suggested that this was intended to link up new weaponsmiths with the established or up and comming ones to create interdependency. If that was the intention they probably failed miserably. I only know of a few smiths that take the apprentice approach. Most are just too busy making weapons or grinding to master.

Given the choice between style over substance. I'll take a sandwich.

Oh yea, I remember seeing that in the FAQs. Honestly, I ground up to master before I even really started making anything, so it hadn't affected me.

There are several items throughout different professions that give you the ability to create a finished product at novice but require you to have more than novice to make the sub-components ...but like it was stated above ...why bother worrying about it, better off to grind to MWS and then make a useable weapon, after all the 10 experimentation pts to make it sooo much better will be definitely worth it... everyone is out to buy the best damaging weapons for their money, so spending a few hundred or a thousand credits on a weapon that is faster and does more damage is worth it ane that is what most player consumers will do... so trying to sell weapons you create at novice will be a tough task especially going up against masters crafting the same ones ....personally i trained in Novice tailor to make some WS tool kits from the schematic i was given from Rebel themepark... however 2 sub components required lvl I and lvl II in casual wear so ...seeing that i placed an order with my local master tailor ...so perhaps the Dev's have that in there, in some cases, to help with merchant/econmy relations etc... but who knows ....anything is possible, hehe, never quite know how certain peoples thought train is and on which track it is running
