It would seem there is no benefit in getting a master armorsmith to repair your armor, as you can do it yourself, as long as you have a tool. Armorsmiths receive no bonuses over normal peeps.
Does this also apply to weapons? Or, is it better to seek the services of a master weaponsmtih to repair your tool?

If there is a WS bonus to repair, I've never noticed it. I usually sell 99% repair tools with most orders, or if someone asks for a repair I sell them a tool and explain that it really doesn't seem to matter who uses it.
I've destroyed too many good weapons to continue with repairs. Just have some high rating tools and sell them to the people looking for repairs.

TH stated weaponsmiths have a bonus to repairing weapons, but the bonus is so small that it's not really worth searching out one to repair your weapons for you.
Just get the best repair tool you can, and hope for the best.
