depends on what im making, but i try to go -8 on the sac cost.
i saw you had a post about stocks so i thought i would throw this out there, it worked well for me.
First piece of advice, your using pyollian cake and bespin port right? If you craft in a research center you do better also. When making schematics, try to use a bespin port for ever pt of experimentation, get enough amazing success and its almost like having a 13th pt. Assuming you are 12 pt right? because if you want to compete in weapons, gotta be 12 pt.

Oh, Im sorry I didnt realize you were sac capping at resource. Im not sure what hard cap is, just know that I get -8. Or was that on the power handlers? Lol. Im fairly new, being about 2months old on weaponsmithing. I had to finally use a 30k deed for the Rhodium steel as I could find any, not even crapola rhodium. Well, good luck with it, its fun, and devastating at the same time. Wait till you get a critical failure on a power handler you just made with a 180 damage krayt tissue you just sold your soul to get. LoL.
On all comps go lowest possible on SAC... -9 for the above comps.. llast 2 to 3 points depending on Amazing success int ospd.. Then final craft max out Dam then depending how it turn out last 3 points into SAC or Spd.
Also krayt tissue only go into the Power Hanlder... Gorax bone into Feed mechs..
