Thread: Did i get Messed over?
That aside, the stats do seem oddly low for what was supposed to have been used in the crafting.
Just to add my two cents in....
The damage is oddly low (even for a 10 pt'er). I think it all depends on how the WS crafted the sub-components (did something go wrong here?) with your 173 dmg tissues. Secondly, on the final build... how were the points distributed? Like one of the above posters said.. it is probable that the WS got a moderate success, etc when experimenting on damage. The thing about Trando rifles is... it is partially barrel dependant. If you get a high action cost barrel.. you need to possibly spend an extra point or two making up ground if you desire the 82-83 SAC weapon (although, I suspect only ONE point would be needed if you had a horrendous action cost on that barrel). So, for a 10 pt smith... you're already in the hole trying to make up ground if you're dealt a crap barrel... but even after all of this... that rifle should be in the mid 1100s w/ the resources on our server.
As a WS, I go all out when I craft something for a customer (and, of course, the weapons I sell). I make sure I get an entertainer buff, drink bespin port, eat the assembly cake, and craft in a research center. It's very very very rare that I get a moderate success. Most of the time I am dealt amazings (seems like 20% of the time) and great successes.
With an SAC of 83, that's pretty close to cap for a rifle. Looks like maybe the WS went for SAC first, then damage. Considering the WS was only 10 points, they could have fell short on experimentation points to finish out the damage line. A possible miscalculation on their part. Did you tell the WS to focus on SAC?
