I just recently got finished "grinding" up to master level, I was wondering if I could get some advice on some of the things that can be done/aquired to make myself a better WS...
I have recently aquired a 12pt suit
I think my resources are ok - good
My other char is a MBH so I get some good loot components
My current mods are : Assembly 148
Experimentation 126
Is there anything I can do (other than FS) to make myself better?
Thanks

1). Better resources. You don't want to settle for ok to good -- will your clients? You want good to great. Or better yet, great to uber. Go to swgcraft.com and familiarize yourself with the best WS resources that have spawned on your server. Then look out for these on galaxy vendor search, forum auctions, and from retiring smiths.
2). If you can afford it, start buying 30K resource deeds. 3 mil+, depending on your server. You may have to burn through a few for the resources in which you're lacking.
3). Use bespin port when crafting. Craft in a research center city, if possible. Both of these will boost your experimentation rolls.
4). Find a musician and get a WS buff every time you craft.
5). If you're planning on doing custom orders using expensive enhancements, you *need* FS crafting skills. Even just the first box of force experimentation will greatly reduce your moderates and failures.
6). Start getting yourself known. Post on your trade forum. Provide excellent customer service. Crafting is only part of your trade. The other part is how you present yourself and deal with others, i.e., your clients.
7). Read this forum religiously.
8). Better resources.

10). Did I mention better resources?
Good luck!

i cant speak highly enough of FS crafting mods.. i was a FS crafting master/jedi/weaponsmith hybrid on corbantis for a few months - never saw anything under a great sucess and got amazings 50-60% of the time without buffs or bespin. Get FS skills and publicise that fact religeously - i made enough credits in 2 months that now im enjoying my retirement as a decked out full template jedi with the best pearls and CA's.
oh and great resources help to
